RANDALIA, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man is behind bars after police say he became intoxicated and got behind the wheel of a car and then began damaging property
On July 6, 2025, at approximately 10:47 PM, Fayette County Deputies were called to the area of Banks and 1st Street in Randalia, Iowa, in reference to a suspicious vehicle complaint. A vehicle matching the description provided by the caller was located at the Agvantage Coop located south of Randalia.
Upon locating the vehicle, deputies investigated and the driver, identified as 38-year-old Randall A. Studer, was found to be under the influence. Deputies additionally observed intentional damage to property at the coop and the city of Randalia.
As a result of the investigation, Randall A. Studer was arrested and charged with the following crimes:
– operating while intoxicated 2nd offense
– 2nd degree criminal mischief
– careless driving
– striking fixtures upon a roadway/highway.
Studer was transported to the Fayette County Jail and held for initial appearance with magistrate judge.
