MASON CITY – Police were called to a North End residence to investigate a domestic assault Thursday and made an arrest.
Mason City police were called to a residence at the 1000 block of North Delaware Avenue Thursday at about 2:39 PM after a report of an altercation there. After an investigation, police arrested 22-year-old Brittany Lynn Hanna and charged her with serious domestic assault.
Hanna was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and released later Friday, pending a court date.
In 2013, Hanna filed a Petition for Relief from Domestic Abuse in Worth county against a male subject.
