CLIVE – Stopping for donuts and “scratchers” at a local Casey’s gas station paid off handsomely for Sheila Reich of St. Ansgar.
“I dropped my son off at school and I figured I wanted a donut or something, and I got some scratchers while I was there,” the Northern Iowa lottery win said.
That donut stop led to a $50,000 prize, according to the Iowa Lottery. Sheila (pictured at top via the Iowa Lottery) won that top prize on a PAC-MAN ticket, the lottery said, which she bought at Casey’s in St. Ansgar.
“This is why you ALWAYS stop for that donut!” the lottery professed.
