Bliss Supports Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank on Make a Difference Day

(Mason City, IA)- To Celebrate Make a Difference Day on October 27th, the staff at Bliss Bridal and Formalwear will again be collecting food for the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank in Mason City. To reward the donations made, Bliss will be discounting formal and prom gowns purchased, 5% per item donated.
Make a Difference Day is a national day of doing good and it takes place each year on the fourth Saturday in October. This day was originally created by USA Weekend magazine 21 years ago to celebrate neighbors helping neighbors. Millions of Americans unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others. In these challenging times, volunteering is up. Social entrepreneurs are redefining service for the 21st century.
If you don’t have the need for a new gown, but still would like to donate, Bliss will give away a reusable shopping bag or T-shirt to each person making a donation from October 27-28th. Come in and help the Bliss team make a difference!
