Arline B. Danielson, the daughter of Henry and Hazel (Burditt) Strodtmann, was born on January 20, 1924, in Fonda, IA. She died on April 12, 2025, at Accura Healthcare of Milford at the age of 101 years.
Arline graduated from Fonda High School in 1942 before marrying Carl Danielson on October 24, 1946, at the presbyterian church in Fonda. To this union, four children were born, Elaine, Deanna, Carolyn, and Jane.
After their marriage, the couple farmed West of Varina for six years. On March 9, 1957, they moved to Estherville.
She loved traveling, especially to Arizona in the winters with Carl, fishing, reading, pontoon rides, embroidery work, and spending time with her family.
Arline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Elaine (Dennis) Groth of Newell, Iowa; Deanna (Dale) Lass of Dubuque, Iowa; Carolyn Leifson of Florence, AZ; Jane (Gene) Lewis of Spirit Lake, IA; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel (Burditt) Strodtmann, her husband, Carl Danielson, and a son-in-law, Ev Liefson.
