Iowans charged with crimes in Boone county

BOONE, IOWA - Authorities in Boone county, Iowa, placed a number of Iowans under arrest for alleged crimes between March 10 and March 21, 2025.

BOONE, IOWA – Authorities in Boone county, Iowa, placed a number of Iowans under arrest for alleged crimes between March 10 and March 21, 2025.

– Blake James Moore, 39, Boone, had a previously granted probation revoked by the District Court for an original charge of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver, as a Habitual Offender. The original 3-15 years of prison sentence was imposed.

– William Howard Koppen, 38, Boone, had a previously granted probation revoked by the District Court for an original charge of Possession of a Firearm as a Felon, as a Habitual Offender. The original 3-15 years of prison sentence was imposed.

– Savon Marell Walker, 29, Madrid, had a previously granted probation revoked by the District Court for original charges of Possession of a Firearm as a Felon and Harassment 1st. The original 7 year prison sentence was imposed.

– Jeremy Scot Quillen Jr., 44, Boone, was sentenced by the District Court following guilty pleas to Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor; and, Criminal Mischief 5th, a Simple Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years in prison concurrent to an existing term. The cases were investigated by the Boone Police Department and Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

– Albert Lee Hobart, 63, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to OWI 2nd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year in prison, with all but 7 days suspended. On the suspended portion, the defendant was placed on probation with terms to include completion of a substance abuse evaluation with follow through of treatment, a course for drinking drivers, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

– James Louis Rubin, 29, Ogden, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to OWI 2nd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year in prison, with all but 7 days suspended. On the suspended portion, the defendant was placed on probation with terms to include completion of a substance abuse evaluation with follow through of treatment, a course for drinking drivers, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.

– Pedro Flying Eagle Gonzalez, 18, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to OWI 1st, a Serious Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 2 days in jail, completion of a substance abuse evaluation with follow through of treatment, a course for drinking drivers, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.

– Joel Brent Anderson, 43, Boone, had a previously granted probation revoked by the District Associate Court following a stipulation to having violated the terms of the probation. On the revocation the defendant was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

– Daryl Eugene Agent, 55, Ogden, was found in Contempt by the District Associate Court following a stipulation to having violated the terms of his probation. On the Contempt, the defendant was sentenced to 14 days in jail.

– Alec Hayward Dankel, 28, Collins, received deferred judgments from the District Associate Court following pleas to OWI 1st and Carrying Weapon While Intoxicated, both Serious Misdemeanors. On the deferreds, the defendant was placed on probation with terms to include completion of a substance abuse evaluation with follow through of treatment, a course for drinking drivers, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.

– Danielle Janette Dalton, 41, Windsor Heights, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to 4 days in jail plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.

– Justin Stephen Ahlberg, 31, Madrid, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following a guilty plea to Driving While Revoked, a Serious Misdemeanor. The defendant was sentenced to payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Madrid Police Department.
