Mark Brian Flesche, age 57 of Lake Mills, IA, passed away on Friday, January 17, unexpectedly at his home.
Upon Mark’s wishes he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Schott Funeral Home – Mittelstadt Chapel in Lake Mills, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
Mark was born May 15th, 1967, in Austin, Minnesota. He was adopted by his mother Carolyn Flesche and his father Marlowe Flesche. He was raised on a farm with his sister Terrie Mollenmaster in Ellendale, Minnesota. He graduated in 1986 from Ellendale High School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Marlowe Flesche; and a brother in-law, Moe.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Flesche; sister, Terrie Mollenmaster; son, Derek Flesche; step children, Marcus (Rachel) Carpenter, Kaley (Cody) Pobanz, Christopher Seedorf Jr, and Madison (Anthony) Seedorf; grandchildren, Teegan Carpenter, Makayla Pobanz, Dawson Hauge, Bryson Schuna, Ashton Hauge, and Daxton Flatness.
Mark worked at Shell Rapid Lube in Albert Lea, for about 14 years. When he wasn’t busy in the shop working on other people’s vehicles, he was always in his “man cave,” fixing and creating new things. He liked to use his 3D printer and vinyl cutter.
Mark was a kind-hearted, funny soul. He would give his shirt off his back, even if it was his last. He always knew how to make people laugh. He will be so deeply missed by those who loved and cared for him.
