MASON CITY – Mason City man was taken to jail Thursday morning for stealing.
Police were called to Mill’s Fleet Farm, 3200 4th Street SW, in Mason City at about 10:00 AM Thursday. Employees at the store had detained a male subject – 61-year-old Dennis Gene Debattista – for shoplifting. An officer completed a report and transported Debattista to the county jail. He was charged with third degree theft and held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
