MASON CITY – The Mason City City Council will meet Tuesday night at the Mason City City Room in the library.
Janice Easley will be making a presentation about the bandshell, for which she helped raise thousands of dollars and save it from destruction.
Long-time Mason City radio DJ Colleen Devine will receive a certificate of recognition for her induction into the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame.
In other business, the Mayor is recommending the reappointment of three individuals to the MacNider Museum Board: Paul Micich, Bonnie McCoy and Peggy Cornick.
The Mayor is also recommending that Trick or Treat night in Mason City be designated for October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Teh city will decide if it will start accepting RFP’s for a contracted city attorney.
The Alliant Energy franchise agreement will also be discussed and a public hearing on the matter will be held.
