The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
9:00 a.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp, Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey
Callanan, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to review a draft amendment to Ordinance 15 related to wind energy, solar
energy, and battery storage.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:17 a.m.
Various tabulations, reports, correspondence and other documents that were presented at today’s meeting are
placed on file with the supplemental minutes.

The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present:
Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp, Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey Callanan, and various
members of the public.
Chairperson Meacham Ginapp convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve today’s agenda and the minutes for December 2, 2024
special session, December 2, 2024 regular session, and the December 4, 2024 special session. Motion passed
unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to approve claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the payroll register for period ending 11/30/2024. Motion
passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve Change Order 1 to contract with Rock Central Sewer and
Water for Drainage District 1 – Main Tile Repair. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to approve the reappointments of Sandy Shonka, Tracie Siemers, and
Bob Peshak as Deputy Auditors. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the cancellation of outstanding warrants. Motion passed
unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the Sheriff’s Monthly Report of Fees. Motion passed
unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to set the public hearing on and consideration of Proposed Ordinance 69
– An Ordinance Amending Cerro Good County Ordinance No. 15 to Regulate Zoning Districts’ Permitted
Land Uses Relating to Industrial or Utility-Scale Electricity Generation and Storage Installations and
Systems in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa for December 23, 2024 at 10:15 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings provided an update.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the County Engineer to pursue discussions with Floyd
County regarding a sharing request. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to adjourn at 10:19 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
