MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man has been arrested for criminal violation of a no-contact order.

A no contact order was placed on Dustin Robert Hutchison, 37, after a serious domestic assault charge was brought by Clear Lake police on January 24th, 2013.  Hutchison allegedly violated that no-contact order and was arrested late Thursday night.

Hutchison is now being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on no bond.

In addition, Hutchison plead guilty to a harassment charge on April 17th, 2013. Hutchison had arrived at the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse on April 13th. Courthouse employees noticed that when he arrived for court, Hutchison had “bloodshot, watery eyes, and smelled of alcohol.” He consented to a blood alcohol test and registered a BAC of .248, triple the allowable limit by law, and was arrested.  He later plead guilty to public intoxication.

After pleading guilty to the harassment charge, a five year no contact order was placed on Hutchison to keep away from the victim.  He also received one year of probation and was supposed to attend inpatient treatment.

Court records show that another protective order was placed on Hutchison on April 4th, where a woman petitioned the court for relief from domestic abuse.

Finally, Hutchison was also found guilty of public intoxication on June 12th.

    1. No. If you are logged in, you should be able to see everything. I haven’t heard of any issues until now.

  1. @Fubar-because the Damn Liberal Judges keep letting them out on bail or giving them probation. That keeps happening until they kill someone and then it cost us thousands of dollars to prosecute them and then they parole them. I don’t think we have enough jails and prisons to house all these dirtbags.

  2. why why why do we keep seeing the same ole dirtbags getting arrested for the same shit time after time?? Its time to lock em up and chuck the f**king key in the river.
