CLEAR LAKE – Police discovered illicit drugs on a Clear Lake woman Sunday morning during a traffic stop.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies conducted a traffic stop at about 3 AM at Main Avenue and South 22nd Street due to an equipment violation. One female passenger, 24-year-old Jessica Rhea Herker of Clear Lake, was in the vehicle was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
Herker was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and then released pending a court date.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
