Northern Iowa man nabbed on warrant for dealing meth

ESTHERVILLE - As a result of an ongoing investigation into the illegal use and sale of drugs, police have filed felony charges against a Northern Iowa man.

ESTHERVILLE – As a result of an ongoing investigation into the illegal use and sale of drugs, police have filed felony charges against a Northern Iowa man.

On January 24, 2024, Estherville Police filed charges and requested arrest warrants for 41-year-old, Jesse Kinney, of rural Estherville. Kinney’s charges stem from an ongoing investigation into the sale and use of Methamphetamine that occurred in December of 2022. During the investigation, Kinney sold methamphetamine on two separate occasions.

Jesse Kinney was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, both Class C Felonies; and two cunts of gatherings where controlled substances are used, both class D felonies.

Kinney was arrested by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office on the arrest warrants following a traffic stop there, on or before February 9th. Kinney was transported to the Emmet County Jail in reference to the arrest warrants and posted a surety bond later that day.

The Estherville Police Department was assisted by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office, and the Emmet County Emergency Management Director.
