Ann Wolfe, 69, of St. Joseph passed away August 30, 2022. Services are pending at this time.
Ann Rochelle, daughter of Daniel and Carol (Cran) Fish, was born March 22, 1953, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was raised in Rutland, Iowa and graduated from Humboldt High School in Humboldt, Iowa. After graduating, Ann lived in Des Moines, Iowa and worked at J.C. Penney for a short time before moving back to Humboldt, where she met her future husband, Don Wolfe. The couple were married August 20, 1977, at the Rutland United Methodist Church. They made their home in the Humboldt area where their children were born, first Joey in 1980, then Chelsea in 1985. When the children were still young the family moved to Arizona where they lived for several years. Ann worked in an elementary school cafeteria for a while before becoming a full-time homemaker and stay-at-home mom. The family moved back to West Bend, Iowa in 1992, then St. Joseph, Iowa more recently.
Ann was devoted to her family and friends. She was a good wife, mom, grandma and friend. She was a kind and giving person, caring more about others than herself. Ann, 69, died suddenly at her home in St. Joseph, Iowa, August 30, 2022. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Don, of St. Joseph, IA; son Joseph “Joey” (Niki) Wolfe and their children Paityn, Ava and Blake, of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Chelsea Wolfe of Emmetsburg, IA; and brother Danny Fish of Arizona. Ann’s parents and brothers Doug and Greg Fish preceded her in death.
