Todd Blodgett Opinion: Supermarket killer Payton Gendron plays out a dead Nazi’s dream

Todd Blodgett of Clear Lake Iowa is an accomplished writer and political strategist. He has been the most-popular writer in the history of the Globe Gazette, been published in numerous news publications, and has written a book, “Republican Crackhead.”

The racist, anti-Semitic mass murderer Payton Gendron’s claim that most of his virulently bigoted beliefs came “mostly from the internet” isn’t shocking. But his crime and those of other haters comport fully with what the world’s leading postwar neo-Nazi, Dr. William L. Pierce, prophesied 20+ years ago. “On a worldwide basis,” Pierce told me in 2001, “the internet will impel white racialists to do our dirty work, without us” – Hate Group leaders – “having to ever deal directly with such losers.” Pierce, who denigrated his fans as “misfits”, “freaks” and “bottom feeders”, wrote ‘The Turner Diaries’ – which is, effectively, the Bible for violence-prone racists and rabid anti-Semites. He died in 2002 believing that “online self-indoctrination” would exempt hate organizations and hate site operators from any liability for such atrocities. “These violent rejects and weirdos will probably wear body armor, carry semi-auto-matic weapons, and bring fully-loaded spare clips,” to their slaughter sites. “The morons will likely use tactical gear to facilitate their ethnic cleansing,” Pierce told me in his private office, at his mountaintop compound in West Virginia. Arching an eyebrow, he added, “hopefully, the publicity will motivate other fools to eradicate [blacks], [Hispanics], [Jews], [Muslims], [Gays] and all sub-humans and mud people.”

Payton Gendron, shooter who murdered 10 people in a New York supermarket

Indeed, Gendron has acknowledged that he was inspired by Norwegian neo-Nazi Andres Breivik, who, in 2011, shot and killed 69 people, after detonating a bomb in Oslo which snuffed out eight others. Pierce didn’t know I was clandestinely recording our conversation for the FBI – for which I then worked, full-time, to infiltrate and monitor racist, far right terrorists. His incendiary rant was then transcribed for inclusion in classified reports, for distribution to US Homeland Security experts who specialized in anti-terrorism efforts and for analysts at the bureau, the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and the UK’s Mi5.

Gendron’s legally-purchased rifle was outfitted with modifications which are illegal under New York law, but since WHEN has breaking the law EVER stopped lawbreakers? The term “livestream” used in 2001, when YouTube didn’t yet exist. However, as cell phones with cameras were around, Dr. Pierce foresaw terrorists filming their murderous rampages. “Once the footage is released via the electronic media,” he told me, “others will follow suit, by committing copycat crimes. Whether they’re killed in action or they commit suicide, or live to glorify their deeds,” he said, “won’t matter.” What he knew WOULD matter to the “foot soldiers of the movement”, including teenagers, would be to make a name for themselves, by shooting innocent victims. This constitutes a form of immortality among neo-Nazis, the KKK, Holocaust deniers and other violent degenerates. Former FBI agent Katherine Schweit, who initiated the bureau’s Active Shooters program, basically confirmed Pierce’s view. Of Gendron, Schweit said on May 15, “he’s telling us he wants to feel important … remembered … and relevant in life… ” – just as Pierce predicted.

To curb such horrific incidents, US laws must be strictly enforced and wannabe shooters must fear rapid, painful reprisal. However, law-abiding citizens cannot be denied the right to carry firearms for self-protection; Gendron would’ve NEVER even considered shooting up gun shows, even in a minority neighbor-hood. Mitigating the inevitable, deadly impact of such hate-filled, online manifestos, like that which the 18-year-old Gendron had posted, is possible. But that laudable goal will remain elusive if those in power continue to allow illegal aliens to flood into our country. It’s been proven in case after case that such unwise, provocation is causal to this carnage. Polls have also consistently shown that scores of millions of Americans believe that their own government not only doesn’t have their back, but that our leaders are deliberately enabling tens of millions of non-citizens to illicitly enter the US, where they take advantage of tax-funded benefits intended for AMERICANS. Until they think otherwise, such tragedies – like the recent mass murder in Buffalo – will probably continue. That’s the match that lights the flames.

Wondering how you’re going to spin Uvalde

Why, or how, could ANYONE “spin” the evil of Salvador Ramos.

The kid is crazy, according to his classmates and other students and even neighbors who knew/know him. He should be executed, and very soon.

Has to have a trial first. This is the USA.

Good to see you back Todd. I live in AZ and this abomination of an installed demented 40 + years of eating at the taxpayers trough has brought US down to this.
Will we make through as an united sates?

Hey, Kraig! Great to hear from you. As you can see, even here, on the NIT site, there are some Radic-Libs who try to paint ALL Conservatives as racists, despite evidence to the contrary.
As to your question, yes, the USA will survive, either because Democrats will lose in ’24, or – if need be – Americans who love America will take their country back, via alternative means. But we must eradicate the nasty fools who ARE actually racists, anti-Semites, KKK, Holocaust Deniers, etc. Such cretins are are evil, and they must go.
It’s shameful that Leftist agitators have now infested north Iowa. But inevitably, they’ll lose, and then be as gone as wild geese in the winter.
Anyone who even has to think about how our founders would react, were they to return and encounter virtually ANY Democrat holding federal office (elected, or appointed), is truly naive.
History proves that any such encounter would be brief and highly efficacious, and that it would end with only the founding father(s) walking away … as in: Mission Accomplished.
Yes, Biden and his cabal of parasites are trying to destroy these United States, but they WON’T succeed. Real Americans simply won’t allow it.

Ha ha ha. Right from the Gingerich playbook.

Well, ‘Anon1’, that so-called “Gingrich playbook” resulted in record numbers of Republicans being elected to the US House (1994), and gave the GOP its first majority since President Eisenhower was in his first term.

BTW, although for a Democrat you spell rather well, you really should learn to spell the former US Speaker’s last name correctly.

Negative campaigning is not something to be proud of, at least in my mind. If all candidates would only speak of what they want to do, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in today and people like Gendron and ‘Gingrich’ would not be relevant. But Republicans found that many people believe the negative campaign bs and that is the only way they can get elected.

‘Anon’, what’s your definition of negative campaigning?
Given the unfortunate and costly results of the lies spun by Biden, Pelosi, and Obama, HOW is it possible that THEIR campaigns didn’t have highly “negative” consequences for productive, taxpaying US citizens?

Have you watched television lately? There are 2 or 3 ads running right now on local tv that define negative campaigning. Each one promotes their candidate as one who will stop the evil people who they are running against. They promise to turn the USA back into a Christian nation where teachers are not predators, minorities are kept under control, alternative lifestyles are abolished and women don’t control their own healthcare.

So, when Joe Biden, while a candidate during a campaign for President, tells black people that, if elected, the Republicans “will put y’all back in chains”, that’s NOT negative campaigning?

When Biden’s boss, Barack Obama, calls his opponents liars, because said Republicans correctly claimed that Obama’s promise to voters that if they “like their doctor, they can keep their doctor”, was untrue, THAT, somehow, is not negative campaigning, Anon?

Yeah, that is negative campaigning, but you know what I mean. You watch television too. A laughable ad on right now says when elected, so and so will go to Washington, DC and fire Nancy Pelosi. For low-intelligent voters, I am sure that sounds like someone who is actually going to do something, but come on. And that is not even negative, it is just a lie.

Last edited 1 year ago by anon1

Well, if the Republican who ran that ad wins, and is part of the incoming GOP majority, then it’s a given that such candidate, once in office, WILL vote to effectively “fire” Speaker Pelosi.

So, how is such promise a lie?

It is a lie. Regardless of who wins, Pelosi will still have her job. She may not be Speaker, but she continue in her job. You are being obtuse. The point is that negative campaigning is killing this country.

In the 1990 midterm elections, a political action committee associated with House Republican whip Newt Gingrich gave to Republican candidates a document called “Language: A Key Mechanism of Control.” It urged candidates to label Democrats with words like “decay,” “failure,” “crisis,” “pathetic,” “liberal,” “radical,” “corrupt,” and “taxes,” while defining Republicans with words like “opportunity,” “moral,” “courage,” “flag,” “children,” “common sense,” “hard work,” and “freedom.” Gingrich later told the New York Times his goal was “reshaping the entire nation through the news media.”

Well, well, well. Once again Kraig only shows up on NIT whenever Blodgett has an op-ed. Yep, Kraig you are very good at kissing Blodgett’s pathetic derriere whenever the opportunity arises. You may want to get some chap-stick for those lips of yours.

In reply to ‘Joe’:
First, you’re flat wrong – Mr. Koller has often posted comments to articles, and to Op-Ed columns which I didn’t write.
Second, he’s not the Yes Man that you have falsely claimed.
Third, ‘Joe’: unlike other bloggers to this thread (including myself, and Mr. Koller), you don’t post your last name along with your comments.
Who knows? Maybe ‘Joe’ isn’t even your real first name.
Why not be up front? Why hide behind what’s either a fake first name, or, if it’s your actual name, why not state your full name – as others do, on this site?

Yes indeed. Gary Blodgett should have “pulled out” nine months earlier before September 10th, 1960.

Nice switch at the end Todd. I read the first part and thought maybe Todd is starting to see that the hateful screed he and others are spouting is not good for America. Then, you switch over to immigrants and seemingly blame them for this violence. We are all immigrants and the vast majority of people coming into this country are seeking a better life. But the scare tactics employed by the right, is making that damn near impossible.

‘Anon’ – Reread my column; I’m not blaming legitimate, legal immigrants.

My points are valid and true: Biden and most Democrats in DC want more ILLEGAL aliens here, and they want them here because they know that 90 percent+ of them will vote for Democrats.

By refusing to enforce US law, in order to get these people onto US soil, they’re provoking US citizens, including unstable, violence-prone, racist haters like Payton Gendron.

Once again, at the end of his op-ed, good old Todd starts to blow smoke out of his ass. But that is nothing new for him, as it is his forte in life.
Eleven of the 13 people shot by the White suspect at the Tops Friendly Market were Black, the shooting was a straight-up racially motivated hate crime.
This was not about illegal immigrants; this was pure hatred toward black people. Speaking of hatred towards black people, that must take you back to all of your old racist days & the hate mongering bigots that you hung out with, Blodgett. The “good ol days” for you, eh Todd. Cocaine and racism were your part and parcel back in those days. You’ll deny the racism, but the proof is out there. Your denial is just another big lie like your master the traitorous & cowardly Donald Trump.
You are not even a has been Blodgett, you were just a Daddy connected never was and a  loser.

You tell us what Todd is going to say, then you attack him for ‘not’ saying it. I bet it makes good sense to you.

Great and valid points, ‘O-O-R’! Thank you.

Yeah, these crypto commies (AKA, liberal Democrats) often try to put words in my mouth, and attribute to me views I don’t hold. That’s just their M.O., and always will be.
But believe it or not, I’d love to have the opportunity to meet them for drinks – provided, of course, that I can do the mixing …

Blodgett you and Oink are quite the pair.
North Iowa’s version of dumb & dumber.

You’re entitled to your erroneous views, as putrid as they are, Joey.
Apparently, you’ve not read Gendron’s scurrilous online manifesto. Yes, he’s clearly an unstable, racist hater, who, IMO, merits execution. ALL racists who illegally end the lives of innocent victims should be executed.
If I were to hold any bigoted beliefs, I’d be open about such – but I don’t. I’ve never denied my role in that so-called movement, which was a profiteer, BTW, or my use of illegal drugs, or anything else.
BTW, since when were computers and access to the internet allowed up on Five East? Does the supervising nurse realize that you’re even more messed up than even your doc seems to have thought?
Better luck next time.
So,take your meds, Joey, and … PUT. DOWN. THE. BONG.

Last time I heard Todd, they didn’t allow bongs on 5E. Perhaps they do for entitled persons who have the right connections, but not your average Joe.

I never claimed that ‘Joe’ is average, ‘Anon’; obviously, he’s far below that level.

Blodgett, you are about as sharp as the the leading edge of a marble.

Joe, your above comment was actually useful; it reminded me to take out the trash.

Typical Blodgett, he is ignorant of the fact that 5 East at MercyOne North Iowa is now the area for hospital administration offices. Keep up little Todd, there is a fairly new Behavioral Health area that provides service to those in need. Incredible, you profess to have gotten help to get rid of your rampant cocaine addiction & then turn around and demean and belittle those with similar issues. You always have listed hypocrisy as one of your many negative attributes ( of which there are many).
Blodgett, you are such a narcissistic fool.
However, I am impressed with how you manage to pull so much bullshit out of your nether regions.

‘Joe’ – When did I “belittle” anyone who legitimately needs help from the staff at Mercy Medical Center? Yes, I attended residential drug treatment for my addiction, and it helped.
Don’t we all have negative attributes, and – at least to some extent – aren’t we all hypocrites?
So what if family connections played a role in my landing some political appointments, jobs, etc? My work for the FBI resulted from me being recruited by the bureau, for my contacts and insider knowledge.
Those whom the FBI and JTTF wanted me to surveil and monitor were MY contacts, not those of my late Dad.

“recruited by the FBI for my contacts and insider knowledge.”
That’s some serious spin, Blodgett.
You were a paid snitch for the FBI after they corralled with potential charges. You folded like a card house just to save your sorry ass from charges & jail time.

Okay, Joe, on THIS one, you’re almost certainly correct: had I rejected the FBI’s offer to put on the wire and work for them, the bureau probably would’ve asked the DOJ (then, headed by Bill Clinton’s AG, Janet Reno) to go after me.
In other stunning news, the sun rose in the east earlier today, and then set in the west, for approximately the 19,000,000,000th time.
