CLARKSVILLE, IOWA – A Clarksville man was caught with meth for the third time this year, police say.
On December 4, 2020, Clarksville, Iowa police observed a suspect traveling on West Superior Street. Police say they knew the suspect had an active arrest warrant. Police then initiated a traffic stop and after placing the suspect under arrest, the suspect advised he was in possession of a device used to inhale methamphetamine. The suspect was searched and found to be in possession of two small bags of methamphetamine. As a result, Clarksville police – for the third time in 2020 – arrested Mitchell Kelderman for possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kelderman was taken to the Butler County Jail in Allison and held on $10,000.00 cash only bond.
