CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was arrested for assault Thursday evening.
One October 31, 2019 at about 5:01 PM, officers with the Charles City police department responded to a call in the 900 block of E Street involving a disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined that an assault has taken place. Officers located a suspect, 35-year-old Brand Jorgensen of Charles City, in the 600 block of 6th Avenue. She was arrested on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.
Jorgensen was taken to jail an she was soon released on her own recognizance.
