NEW JERSEY – President Donald Trump this morning blasted Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut after the liberal lawmaker appeared on CNN and criticized the President and showed support for the free press.
Blumenthal was on a CNN talk show Monday morning and took issue with the Trump administration’s enforcement of laws in connection to government leakers and also said the Russia-Trump investigation would make heroes out of the free press when history looks back on the debacle.
In response, President Trump, taking a working vacation in New Jersey, took to Twitter and laid a beating on Blumenthal, typing “Never in U.S.history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal. He told stories about his Vietnam battles and … conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child.”
It was widely publicized back in 2010 that Blumenthal possibly embellished his military service record during a Senate campaign; he received deferments during the Vietnam War and later joined the marine reserves, but stated he served in Vietnam. He later apologized for the mis-statements.
Interesting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!

…conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?
