President Trump wants to hear your “Obamacare disaster story”

President Donald Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, President Donald J. Trump held a listening session to hear directly from Americans who have experienced significant hardship as a result of Obamacare’s alleged “poor coverage and rising prices.”

During the meeting, one woman revealed that she had her health insurance cancelled three times since Obamacare became law. Another attendee had her insurance jump from $17,000 a year to a devastating $52,500 a year for her struggling family, while yet another said her health insurance now costs more than her mortgage.

In a bulletin sent to citizens, the White House and President Trump emphasized that “millions of hard-working Americans have been impaired by soaring costs, cancelled plans, and overbearing mandates. As one of those innocent Americans, President Trump wants to hear your story about how this disastrous law has affected you and your family.

“Obamacare came packaged as the healthcare solution for all Americans. Instead, the country was given hundreds of pages of broken promises. Obamacare has been a complete failure since the beginning, and things are only getting worse.”

President Trump said today that he “wants to hear from hard-working Americans like you. How has Obamacare affected you? Share your Obamacare disaster story.”

The White House has created a web site just for citizens to tell their “Obamacare disaster story.” The page is located here.

My father in law didn’t have health insurance offered to them through his employer, and when Mercy let my mother in law go because she had worked there for so many years and was making too much money they were without insurance. The ACA allowed them to find insurance that worked for them and the rest of us tax payers didn’t have to cover their medical expenses. TOTAL DISASTER!

Your mother must have been a lazy, lousy employee. That is why she was let go. They keep good employees, and even give them raises. Nice try though.

They kept her for over 30 years, and gave her raises each of those years. She was not lazy and took pride in her work. When mercy realized they could let her go and hire two new people for less they went for that. Honestlly it makes business sense but it’s cold and careless like most corporations are. None of this changes the fact that they were able to get insurance through the ACA and are now in the demographic to lose it again.

It is not the burden of others to pay for insurance for people who can not hold their jobs. Call Clint Thomas, not the government.

it is funny how you say ACA gave them ins. a friend of mine told me his parents couldn’t afford ACA and he voted for trump because of it. I wonder what he would say now with health care cost going to sore for seniors under TRUMPCARE. The people that this hurts the most kids and older adults where is the republicans compassion.

Would you please just summarize your top 2 or 3 concerns with the ACA? Thank you.

You must be kidding with a question like that. Sky high premiums, high deductibles, not being able to see the doctor of your choice. Paying for someone else’s insurance, restricting job gains and on and on.

Paying for someone else’s experience and lack of decent jobs is a personal experience.

I mean no disrespect, just asking for personal experiences if you have any. In my case a family members life was saved because of the ACA and I was interested in your story.

I can understand how you feel if it helped your family. But, it hurt a lot of others in the process. There should be a way to combine these programs to help everyone. I don’t think Medicaid is the answer. I know a lot of people on Medicaid and they are not treated real well by the medical profession.
