NEW HAMPTON – A runaway juvenile was located with a Charles City man, was now faces charges in the incident.
On January 11, 2017 the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing juvenile from Charles City headed to New Hampton. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped on 220th Street and Durham Avenue at approximately 1:49 AM.
The runaway juvenile was located as a passenger in the vehicle.
The driver, Sean D. Gordon, age 25 of Charles City, was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While License Suspended, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Gordon was transported to the Chickasaw County Jail where he was held pending his initial appearance.
