RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Waterloo man was stopped and arrested for drunk driving in rural Cerro Gordo county late Friday night.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Jesse David Mccarvel of Waterloo. Allegedly, Mccarvel was speeding and was improperly displaying the license plates on his vehicle. As a result of the traffic stop and investigation, Mccarvel was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated.
Mccarvel was taken to the county jail, where he was booked and soon released.
