LEVELLAND, Texas – The NIACC men’s 4×800-meter relay team placed fourth in a school record time of 7 minutes, 53.04 seconds at the NJCAA national track and field meet Tuesday.
The Trojans ran Mark Maddox, Jose Aguilera, John Enright and Imad Amenzou and broke the old school mark of 7:54.51 at the NJCAA Region XI meet in 2015.
Allen County CC won the 4×800 in 7:44.57.
NIACC’s Jacob Day will compete in the 10,000 meter run at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, NIACC’s Sola Stephenson is in 14th place in the women’s heptathlon with 2,350 points.
