MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa mom left her two kids home alone, leading to a noise complaint, a visit from cops and a trip to jail.
Wednesday, the Manchester Police Department was called to 1505 North Franklin Street, Apt. 1, for a noise complaint, Chief of Police James R. Hauschild said. When officers arrived on the scene, they found children ages 4 and 5 home alone. Officers discovered the children were home without supervision for more than 2 and a half hours.
The Department of Human Services was contacted and the children were provided with a safe place to stay.
The mother of the children – Sequila Sherre Davis (age) 27 of Manchester – did return while officers were present. She was taken into custody and held at the Delaware County Jail on two counts Neglect or Abandonment of a Dependent Person, a Class C Felony.
Come on people, where’s the outrage!!! If this woman had left two dogs at home unattended or in her car, there would have been 100 posts on here, all proclaiming how terrible this woman was.

@LVS….She should probably hire that dime store wanna be lawyer in training from Clear Lake. I think his name is F.Lee Bagel. He’s so bright, he’s supposedly taking law classes via a correspondence course. My guess is he’s already given up on that gig too.
