MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was caught stealing for the fourth time this year, and this time she had a teen boy with her.
Mason City police responded Saturday evening to Hy-Vee Drug, located at 875 4th Street SW, at about 5:35 PM after a call about a theft. Upon arrival, officers encountered 21-year-old Ashley Troge and teen Ryan Lee Martin, both of Mason City. After an investigation, both persons were arrested on charges of 5th degree theft and taken to jail. Troge and Martin were booked and held briefly before they were released to appear in court at a later date.
In addition to an arrest by Fort Dodge police, Troge has been arrested now 4 times this year in Mason City for 5th degree theft. All the theft cases remain pending in court and she is innocent until proven guilty.
Just maybe this piece of garbage should be locked up.
