CHARLES CITY – Police were called to a commercial area for a disturbance in Charles City this weekend, resulting in two arrests.
Charles City police were called on Friday, April 12, 2024, at about 4:31 PM, to the 1000 block of South Grand Avenue for a report of a disturbance. As a result of an investigation, police arrested 47-year-old Kevin Richards of Charles City on Black Hawk county warrants for domestic abuse assault and failure to appear for disorderly conduct. Also arrested was 42-year-old Larinda Moore of Charles City for public intoxication.
Both were taken to the Floyd county jail for processing.
