To help you feel less “frustrated or limited” as you shop in its stores, Target says it is working across the store to identify “areas where we can phase out gender-based signage to help strike a better balance. For example, in the kids’ Bedding area, signs will no longer feature suggestions for boys or girls, just kids. In the Toys aisles, we’ll also remove reference to gender, including the use of pink, blue, yellow or green paper on the back walls of our shelves.
Target says that in some departments like Toys, Home or Entertainment, suggesting products by gender is unnecessary. Shoppers can expect to see these changes start to happen over the next few months.
The change is signage is a response, Target says, to guests who have “told us that sometimes—for example, when shopping for someone they don’t know well—signs that sort by brand, age or gender help them get ideas and find things faster.”
What they are trying to do and when I mean they I mean the government. They are trying to confuse our children, making them think that they might be the wrong sex. Thats why they are going to sex neutral signs. San Diego is already experimenting with no sex bathrooms, do you want your 10 year old daughter going to the bathroom next to a 30 year old man? This is what our government is heading to, they even talk about legalizing pedophilia.

If I want a toy for an 8 year old boy I go to the boy section then look for the preteen. Now I have to start at one end and go through the whole section looking for a toy. It’s a good thing I don’t go to target anyway.

Our culture has become very fragile. If Target re-arranging their store and calling an area young adult vs young miss, brings an end to the world as we know it.

All I have said is the law is the law unless it is against the constitution then it is wrong because the constitution IS the law of the land. I took an oath to defend the constitution, the law that ALL other laws are supposed to support. Liberals want to destroy the constitution so they push laws through that contradict it.
In a sense, you are Peter. You think that certain rulings aren’t “Constitutional” therefore they are not laws. But, our Constitution build in a checks and balances so that people like you can’t decide what is right and what is wrong. Our forefathers knew there were people who, in a democracy, would try to shape the rules to their own liking. They wanted to avoid that so they allowed the Supreme Court the right to interpret the legality of laws. The Supreme Court isn’t a partisan entity. If they were, then every case brought before them would have to be decided on a 9-0 vote.
There is 1 thing wrong with your statement, we are NOT a democracy but a republic. The checks and balances have been thrown out the window by the current administration.

David, I stand corrected on the republic/democracy although the U.S. has elements of both. And there isn’t that much difference between the two. However, in a republic, the majority rules through chosen representatives; but the Constitution protects the minority from being ignored and unrepresented. Because of that, minority rights matter.
