Preliminary totals from Saturday, January 31, 2015 through today, February 3, 2015 at 10:30AM, show that the Iowa State Patrol responded to:
273 crashes
872 calls for motorist assists
The total number of emergency calls received at our Communications Centers is likely higher than noted, as numerous calls on any particular event may not have been logged due to the extremely high call volume and radio traffic occurring in the Communication Centers over the past 72 hours.
