CLEAR LAKE – A small fire has forced a Clear Lake restaurant to close temporarily.
On the afternoon of June 5th, Clear Lake firefighters responded to the Anchor Inn, 468 Northshore Drive, for an electrical fire, reportedly in the kitchen area. No one was hurt in the incident.
Restaurant operators said via social media that the restaurant will remain closed temporarily due to the small fire. No date has been set, yet, to re-open the establishment. The county health department will nee dot inspect the premises before the restaurant can re-open.
According to the restaurant’s website, The Anchor Inn first opened November 1, 2013 and has been making updates ever since. “We have gradually made small changes, and look forward to doing a little bit more everyday.”
