MASON CITY – The city of Mason City is hiring a meter reader. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
The City of Mason City seeks an energetic individual to read meters for the Water Supply Division. This is a temporary seasonal position from approximately mid-May – October 31, 2014. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. The position is responsible for conducting routine and semi-skilled utility work utilizing computer hand held Interrogator to read meter readers throughout the City. The qualified applicant will be organized and have excellent customer service skills. Must have valid driver’s license. Position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Pay is $10.00/hr.
