MASON CITY – A women’s self-defense seminar sponsored by the Mason City Community Policing Advisory Board will be held this month.
The seminar will be held at the Mason City Black Belt Academy on April 26th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mason City Black Belt Academy, 1323 North Federal Avenue. Door prizes and refreshments will be available to those who attend.
Women will be taught techniques to help fend off attackers, as well as other tips that will keep them out of harm’s way.
