ALDEN – A single-vehicle accident early Saturday in Franklin county sent a Nebraska man on a helicopter ride to a Rochester, MN hospital.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Jeffrey Svoboda, age 46 of Grand Island, Nebraska, was traveling southbound on Heather Avenue near highway C73 at about 2:00 AM Saturday, April 5 when his 1995 Mercury Sable crossed the center line and entered a ditch. The vehicle overturned and Svoboda was ejected.|
Svoboda was flown by Mercy Air Med to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota with undisclosed injuries.
