Mason City man won’t pull over for cops, instead drives to his house

MASON CITY – When an officer turns the cherries on, most people pull over right away. But not this Mason City man.

Monday morning, March 24 at about 9:22 AM, Mason City police received a call from a citizen about a reckless driver. The caller gave specific information about the vehicle and location, and police converged on the area where the subject was driving. Officers located the vehicle and tried to pull the car over. The vehicle failed to pull over and drove for several blocks before stopping at a residence in the 1300 block of 2nd St NW.

Police arrested the driver, Nick Alan Moser, age 21, when he got out of his vehicle in front of his home. Moser was arrested for no driver’s license, eluding, and interference with official acts and was then taken to jail.  He awaits a court date.
