MASON CITY – A Forest City man was stopped by police between Mason City and Clear Lake Monday evening and discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine.
According to police, Cerro Gordo deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 122 and Killdeer Avenue at 7:25 PM Monday evening. Six law enforcement officers responded to the scene. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Brady Levad of Forest City, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and unsafe approach to a stationary law enforcement vehicle.
Levad was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and then released on his own recognizance. He awaits a March 21 preliminary hearing.

Sad to see someone so young already involved with a drug as horrible as meth.
They give in to the money. The pushers tell them they can make a lot of money in a very short time and they fall for it. Then they go to jail and the pusher finds another dumb kid.
