MASON CITY – There was no criminal activity related to a police and ambulance response in downtown Mason City Monday afternoon.
According to Mason City police, Monday afternoon at about 3:48 PM, a caller reported her friend had just cut herself with a knife in the area near Music Man Square on South Delaware Avenue. Police said the wound was “superficial” but the female was transported to the Mercy Hospital Emergency Room for evaluation.
