MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man wanted on four warrants for nearly a year turned himself into Mason City police Monday.
James Godbolt, age 60, turned himself in at the Mason City police headquarters on four Cerro Gordo County warrants. He was then transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
Godbolt had been wanted since March of 2013, when the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force obtained arrest warrants on drug related charges for 22 Mason City residents and one Clear Lake resident – Godbolt.
Godbolt was wanted on warrants related to delivery of hydrocodone and possession of marijuana. He is being held on $21,000 cash/surety bond and awaits a court date.
Aside from the drugs, what else has this man done? If nothing, then he should be set free. STOP THE DRUG WAR (psst…pass it on)
