NIACC invites public comment on accreditation

MASON CITY – North Iowa Area Community College seeks comments from the public about the

College in preparation for its accreditation evaluation by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC).

The College will host a visit September 18-19, 2013 by a team representing the HLC. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s criteria for accreditation. NIACC has been accredited by the Commission since 1919.

The public is invited to submit comments about NIACC to the Commission in two ways, either by written letter or online comment.

All comments must be in writing and should include your name, address and telephone number. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of North Iowa Area Community College or its academic programs. Comments must be received by the Commission no later than September 13, 2013.
