MASON CITY – Beginning Monday October 22, 2012 at 7:00 a.m., the Mason City Utility Division will begin Water Main repairs at 1st Street NW & North Taylor Avenue. First Street NW will be closed between North Taylor Avenue and North Pierce Avenue. North Taylor will be closed between 1st Street NW & 2nd Street NW. The projected time to complete the repairs is 3 to 4 days.
Water Service will be shut off in this area on October 22nd during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Water services affected will be on North Taylor Avenue from 1st Street NW to 2nd Street NW and on 1st Street NW from Linden Drive to North Pierce Avenue.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
