Photo sent by NIT reader while in Des Moines area of man with small child on motorcycle, high rate of speed, no helmets. Should police have been called?

Damn north end – even in Des Moines !
I find it odd that someone would take the time to photograph this kind of activity, forward it on to NIT and not notify the police.
While it probably isn’t against the law to have a child on a motorcycle without a helmet, this same child in a car, would have had to been placed in a car seat and restrained.
Don’t call the police. It is called natural selection.

This happens every day in central heights. A man who lives at the south end of South Hoover has small childen on motorcycles and atvs daily. And he drives careless with them.
