I write this at every election time; DO NOT VOTE FOR A SIGN!

I write this at every election time; DO NOT VOTE FOR A SIGN! Vote for a person.  A sign is just want it is, either paint or ink, it says nothing and does even less.  Just because someone takes the trouble to erect signs does not qualify them to govern or represent your interests.

Before you vote in any election, get to know about those running for office. Learn about them, ask questions, read everything you can find before you cast your vote; your vote is valuable, it is one of the most valuable possessions you own.

The same goes for any form of political  endorsement; don’t buy into that stuff. If the newspaper tells you who they recommend, run the other direction, no one at the paper knows any more than you, most likely even less.

Do your research, them vote, but whatever you do….please vote.

“The same goes for any form of political endorsement; don’t buy into that stuff.”

So, if Peter Children tells me in a newspaper, “If the newspaper tells you who they recommend, run the other direction,” should I ignore his political advice, and do the opposite of what he says?

He doesn’t offer you political advice.

Yes he is. He writes If the newspaper tells you who they recommend, run the other direction. That’s advice!

Good advice Peter.
