CLEAR LAKE – The Iowa DNR tweeted an interesting fact about today
“This year will be the 3rd earliest ice out for Clear Lake! Earliest on record is March 5, 1932; second earliest was March 6, 2000.”
A drive around Clear Lake today shows almost no ice on the lake; only slush and scattered ice chunks near the shore.
