WASHINGTON, D.C. – The bi-partisan January 6 Committee will begin live, nationally-broadcast hearings tonight to expose the dastardly attack on U.S. Capitol.
Numerous individuals have been arrested and charged in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The goal of the frenzied mob of insurrections, who descended on the Capitol building that day at the behest and goading of Donald Trump and his cohorts, was to prevent the lawful transfer of power to Joe Biden, who easily defeated Trump by millions of votes.
The goal of the Committee is to show how cowardly and insidious the attack truly was, and to connect the dots from the lowly individuals who have already been caught, possibly all the way to the top of those who masterminded the ham-handed effort to destroy this fragile Democracy.
