Activities for children include weekly story times and book clubs, weekly contests, Craft Mornings, a treasure hunt and a some very special performances. This summer’s performers include The Zoo Man, musician Hans Mayer, Chasing4Life, Iowa Public Television’s Dan Wardell and magician Jeff Quinn.
Activities for teens include Craft Evenings, Theatre Thursdays, a treasure hunt and some great performances. This summer’s performers include a Zombie Apocalypse program and Vicki Stinson of the Supernatural Research Society of Iowa. Teens will also be offered volunteering opportunities throughout the program.
Children and teens will keep track of their reading and earn prizes as they fill their reading logs. Participants that complete their reading logs before July 19th will be entered into the grand prize drawing of their choice. This year’s grand prizes include iPad Minis, NOOK eReaders, Leap Pads, North Iowa Bulls team autographed jerseys and more.
