Clear Lake man seriously injured in motorcycle accident
MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon.
On July 25, 2019, around 4:30 pm, in the 16000 block of 300th Street in rural Cerro Gordo County there was a single vehicle personal injury accident. A blue 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob driven by 50-year-old Kevin Dwain Wilcke of Clear Lake, Iowa was westbound on 300th Street when he entered the curve in the roadway and lost control of his motorcycle due to wet pavement, striking the guardrail. Kevin suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was taken to Mercy One North Iowa by Mason City Fire Medics for treatment.
Wilcke was cited for failure to maintain control.

Maybe someone should post signs asking for the motorcycles to be quiet. As we know, loud noises bother grown men whilst they inhabit their mothers basements.
