Very sad for all involved.

To-lucky one-There is only so much a media source can print without knowing all the facts first.
There was more known, but out of respect for the ladies family and out of respect for the new owners of Roller City, we didn’t just print what we heard, we want all the details. Without official reports it is better to let the public know that there was an incident.

The new owners will have to watch everyone closely to keep the bad eggs out! Roller City is a fun place and always has been. I spent many many hours there and it was a great place for my children to have a good time and exercise in a very healthy way!
PLEASE~~ keep Roller City Safe!!!!

Accidents can & will happen & this was a tragic ACCIDENT. The owners are in no way responsible & I’m sure feel terrible for the loss of this amazing young woman!! Your reference to “bad eggs” is totally out of line & inappropriate for this situation.
My deepest condolences & prayers to the family & all who witnessed this most unfortunate event.

sorry for posting the same comment twice, having computer problems.

That is terribly sad.

She was just skating and tripped while going fast during the “fast skate”. That is when the announcer calls it and people 14 and younger get a turn, then 14 and over get a turn. She wasn’t doing anything wrong, or practicing “derby” moves. It is just a horrible accident. She was a wonderful, kind person who would never have skated to be a liability to others at the rink.

that’s what I read on fb. But doesn’t say what happened. I wonder if she had a medical Condition?

Rumors are flying that this woman died. Could this be true??

So what exactly happened? Was she doing roller derby moves when other skaters were just trying to skate normally? Did she knock someone down? Either tell the whole story or nothing at all!

It wasnt a fight, it was a roller derby gal

It was a woman who just happens to be on the roller derby squad. A kind, compassionate, warm hearted, intelligent, beautiful, friend, daughter, sister, step-mother who enriched the lives of everyone lucky enough to know her.

Injured as in fell or injured as in a fight? Don’t get me wrong, I am so glad the skating rink is open again, but I hope the new owners keep the nasty rotten kids out. There’s a few that hang out there and just cause trouble.
