One of Two Men in North Iowa Meth Delivery Case Receives Prison Sentence following Plea Bargain

On March 17th, 2011 a warrant was issued for Victor Calhoun and Brandon Page for felony possession of meth with intent to deliver. On May 16th, 2011 Judge James Drew entered an order to combine Victor Calhoun’s case FECR019794 with Brandon Page’s felony possession of meth with intent to deliver, case FECR019793.

On July 11th, 2011 Victor Calhoun entered a negotiated voluntary plea of guilty to an amended felony charge of 124.407-2 gathering for use of drugs. On Aug 22, 2011 he was sentenced in Cerro Gordo County District Court by Judge Colleen Weiland to prison for up to five years. He is currently still in the Cerro Gordo County Jail awaiting transport to prison.

Brandon Page entered a not guilty plea to felony possession of meth with intent to deliver on June 15th, 2011 in Cerro Gordo County District Court. On June 28th, 2011 Brandon Page was released from Cerro Gordo County Jail after posting bond. His trial is set for Sept 27th, 2011 at 1:30pm in Cerro Gordo County District Court.
