Accused Rockford meth dealer turns himself in to police

MASON CITY – A wanted Rockford man surrendered to police Monday.

Christopher Michael Winters, age 29, had been wanted since June 30th on a warrant for violating a no-contact order. He turned himself in to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office on July 7th at 3:20 PM.

Winters, held on $500 bond, awaits a July 15th court date.

Winters is also facing a felony charge of delivery of methamphetamine brought by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office. He was released from jail on June 17th, under supervision. He initially pled guilty but now a plea change hearing is scheduled for September 8th.
