Beverly Jean DeMaris, age 85, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, passed away on February 20, 2025, at the Mitchell Co. Memorial Hospital in Osage, Iowa. Beverly was born in Lyle, MN on March 25, 1939, the daughter of Rufus and Pearl (Fritcher) Rawn. Beverly married Wayne DeMaris. Wayne passed away in May 1979.
Beverly loved putting puzzles together and playing cards with her grandchildren. She could be seen many days at the Good Samaritan at the puzzle table. Many of her puzzles were hung around her room and even in the hallway.
Beverly is survived by her sons, Alan (Joni) DeMaris, St. Ansgar, Michael (Kelley) DeMaris, Ankeny; daughter, Julie Hansen, Albert Lea, MN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Ringham, Mason City, Betty Johnson, Austin, MN, Debbie Whalen, Winona, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne DeMaris; daughter, Linda DeMaris; parents Rufus and Pearl Rawn.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
