Mary was born on September 24, 1938, in Clear Lake, IA to Theodore “Ted” and Lavon “Bonnie” (Albright) Johnson. She attended Clear Lake schools and graduated from Clear Lake High School. Mary earned her two-year degree from Mason City Jr. College, after graduating she began teaching in Rockford. It was while teaching in Rockford, she met her husband Delbert “Del” and they were united in marriage on January 28, 1961 in Clear Lake. Their daughters Misty and Penny were born in Rockford and then in 1965, the family moved to Albert Lea, MN and their son John was born. Living so close to Iowa allowed the Seible’s to have close relationships with family members and make many friends and create many cherished memories. In 1976, Mary and Del moved to Sheridan, WY and also met some amazing friends. In 1981, they moved to Gilette, WY and lastly to Green Bay, WI in 1998; which became their home for the last 26 years.
Mary worked many years in the banking industry and retired from banking in Green Bay.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary absolutely loved to swim and instilled that joy of swimming in her children. She participated in a water aerobics class after she retired and all the people in her class were extremely close. Mary always kept busy from camping and fishing in the mountains, taking road trips back to Iowa to spend time with family and road trips out to Seattle to see Penny. She flew different places and back home just for lunch as their son John had flying privileges. Mary even made it to Hawaii; which was a lifelong dream. She was always up for an adventure whether it be motorcycle rides, fast cars or horseback riding. Mary played guitar, she could sew, she loved to laugh and she loved her kitty. Mary will be remembered as was one of the hardest working individuals her family has ever known.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 63 years, Delbert Seible; children: Misty (Tim) Olson; Penny Seible and John Seible (Tom Nagel); brother-in-law, Don Peckham and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents; Theodore and Lavon Johnson and sister, Rose Marie Peckham (Johnson).
