Shirley Fay Fields, 68, of Hampton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Shirley and her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Following the service, Shirley will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield.
Shirley was born on August 27, 1955, in Hampton, IA to Lloyd and Deloris (Orr) Lumley. She was the middle child of five children and raised in Hampton. Shirley was united in marriage to Randall Fields and together they had four children. She was a mother first and foremost but also cleaned for several local businesses in Hampton. Shirley absolutely loved spending time with her family. She liked watching her Western shows, Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie. Shirley’s favorite thing to watch was Wrestling, which was a big part of her life.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Christopher (Sarah) Fields, Jason Fields, Jesse Fields and Chasity (Mike) Lawson; grandchildren: Kaitlynn, Zachery, Dakota, Sierra, Dominick, Tiffany and Alex; great-grandchildren: Alicia, Kendyl and Grayson; brothers: Wayne (Brenda) Lumley, David (Laura) Lumley and Mark (Ruth) Lumley and sister, Kathy Schloemer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Fields in 2015 and parents, Lloyd and Deloris Lumley.
