CHARLES CITY – Police stopped a Charles City driver and she was arrested for drunk driving.
According to Charles City police, officers conducted a traffic stop on April 27, 2024. At 1:49 AM that morning in the 300 block of 7th Avenue, 44-year-old Lerona Latimore (pictured at top) of Charles City was investigated as the driver. Police determined that she was intoxicated, and was arrested on charges of first-offense operating while intoxicated, no driver’s license, no insurance, and registration violations.
Latmire later pled guilty to drunk driving and was ordered to pay $1,537.50 in fines and court fees.
